The DBC provides solutions for all your business safety needs.
Deploying more than 50 safety training programs to meet state and national training requirements, the DBC works with your safety professionals to develop solutions to help you manage your safety program.
An effective safety training program is vital to your business. Promoting a safety culture can reduce injuries and deaths, property damage, legal liability, illnesses, workers’ compensation claims, and time missed from work.
An innovative, effective safety training program can also help you keep the required OSHA-mandated safety training courses organized and up-to-date and train new employees in the importance of workforce safety.
Employers should remember they are legally responsible for establishing and maintaining a safety program that includes educating employees on workplace safety standards and the hazards they may face on the job.
In the downtown area, businesses have unique safety concerns. Large buildings undergo maintenance every day, with painters, electricians, plumbers and general maintenance people working in offices and high-traffic public spaces. It’s important that employees, particularly managers, be trained to recognize unsafe situations in the workplace. Building owners and operators of multi-story buildings, in terms of managing their properties, also have exclusive safety issues related to exterior maintenance, such as window washing.
